In late 2021, ADT announced its plans to acquire Sunpro Solar and begin operating the company under the ADT name, creating ADT Solar. This acquisition combined the trusted ADT brand name (well-known outside of the solar industry for home security systems) with Sunpro's 15 years of residential solar installation expertise.
