Where the Sky Lives is an excellent middle grade novel about grief, environmentalism, and family. Tuesday Beals lives in Zion National Park where her mom, Dana, is an archaeologist. Her best friend Carter also lives in the park with his stepdad who is a park ranger. Tuesday and Carter love to hike, rock climb, and watch the stars.
